Owner Mike Barber will see to it you have the best burger in town...and you only need to relax and savor the experience.

Mike buys only fresh ground beef daily and grills burgers to order. Nothing is ever cooked before you order it. Through a special grilling process Mike developed, each burger is seared inside and outside, giving it a delicious flavor throughout. And Mike's restless search for quality means that buns, condiments and vegetables are the finest complement to the finest burger.

But Mike knows great food is not enough. You will also get great Customer Service. Orders are taken promptly by cheerful and skilled waitstaff. Meals are expertly prepared and served at your table. Need extra condiments? Want another order of fries? Mike's staff will take care of you.

Mike Barber was the kind of a kid who loved to collect menus. Seriously. He's managed to collect menus from around the world and circled the best items on each menu.

This is a man who is serious about quality cooking. Consider:

The original building for Carytown Burger and Fires was built in the 1840's as a toll house for Westham Plank Road...the highway before Interstate 95 was built.

You won't hear highway sounds on the beautiful outdoor patio. Large enough to seat big groups, it's open and airy in the summer. With heat lamps in the winter it makes a cozy gathering spot. There's a bright and cozy non-smoking room perfect for smaller sized groups upstairs.

Indoors or out, upstairs or down, Mike will make sure you love the experience at Carytown Burgers and Fries.
